Klinikum Ernst von Bergmann Potsdam is a specialist care provider with more than 1,100 beds and offers a comprehensive range of medical services in over 38 clinics and departments. Every year, around 1,600 children are born here, 48,000 people receive initial treatment in the emergency room and 35,000 people find inpatient help through innovative cutting-edge medicine. The hospital is one of the largest employers in the Berlin/Brandenburg metropolitan region and is a cooperation hospital of the Health and Medical University (HMU). Potsdam borders directly on the Berlin districts of Wannsee, Zehlendorf and Grunewald and is connected to the Berlin S-Bahn network.
